Potassium Determines Sugar Beets’ Yield and Sugar Content under Drip Irrigation Condition

Sugar beet is one of the main sugar crops and an important cash crop in three northern regions China (Northeast China, North Northwest China). As arid region, Xinjiang lacks water resources. The establishment a reasonable drip-irrigation system for can not only achieve goal high quality yield, but also crucial efficient utilization fertilizer. This research was implemented experimental field Academy Agricultural Sciences’ Beet Improvement Center Manas County, Xinjiang, from year 2019. Taking ST 15140 as variety, study conducted to investigate effects different irrigation fertilization methods on yield content beets. Ten treatments two levels (W1: 4500 m3 ha−1, W2: 5400 ha−1) five (F1, F2, F3, F4, F5) were carried out randomized block design with replications. content; growth indicators such leaf photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance, chlorophyll intercellular CO2 concentration; fertilizer-use efficiency (nitrogen-use (NUE), phosphorus-use (PUE), potassium-use (KUE)) during growing seasons determined. results indicated that W1F3 (4500 N 229.5 kg ha−1 + P2O5 180 K2O 202.5 hydroquinone g treatment had highest 132.20 Mg 15.61%, respectively.
